so, while reading the bible this morning...I was in I Samuel, learing about King Saul and David, some interesting things and history, and then...i cam across a verse...and it struck me upside the head. Talk about the Lord illuminating a verse to you! wow!
And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people
were bitter in soul,2 each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the
Lord his God. I Sam. 30:6
I love that last part! Remember, no matter what you face today...strengthen yourself in the Lord and
he'll strengthen you in return!
God you are so good! Thank you for your letters Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness, thank you for your love and your mercy! For continuing to show up in the lives of your people. I love you God and thank you again for showing me this today!
You are beautiful, lovely and adored. I pray everyone knows how much God cares for us!

Just a note
Wow, as I was leaving my house this morning, I was backing out of my driveway and looking over at the neighbors who had a huge dumpster delivered and had some workers tearing up their existing driveway with a sledgehammer. It was quite loud, as I turned around, I caught a glimpse of something barely sticking out from the windshield wiper. I parked the car, got out and retrieved the paper. What I found...was a lovely surprise! It was a love letter from Mike! Wow...talking about making my day! I don't know when he did it, but it was such a sweet letter :) Especially since just yesterday I made this blog about letters! (and by looking at the stats, no one has read this yet, so I'm assuming that he hasn't seen it, which makes it all the more sweeter!)
Thank you so much honey bunny! This letter means a lot to me! I love you forevermore and always! xoxoxoxox

Letters
Letters, I love letters. They serve as a reminder to me about things of the past. Whether good, bad or otherwise. They have inspired greatness, delivered tragic news, conveyed thoughts and feelings of love and passion. Letters take time, letters have meaning. I think in today's world. we sometimes loose sight of that. We rush about, having no time for anything...and we let moments slip by; moments where we can brighten a day, bring comfort with a word.
Some might be thinking posting a blog on the internet isn't exactly a letter, but I believe it can be.
So often I hear about God's love letter to us. It's really a beautiful portrait of a gift that he's given to us. Written throughout time, preserved through thousands of years, still relevant, still poignant, still bringing love, comfort, wisdom, joy and more.
I want to know more of God's love letter to me. I want to use His letters to bring goodness and salvation to those I know.
Father, may I yearn for you and your words, may I long to be in your presence, may I seek you and ever find you. I love you Lord, guide me, use me, break me, shape me, make me only yours!!!
